The Links Page

This is a small collection of VW based webpages that I’ve either found useful, interesting or just plain funky! There are 3 categories – business, personal and owners clubs. Business comprises people like Halifax Beetles, and personal are pages like mine, and owners clubs…

SURF AND ENJOY

BUSINESS

The VolksWagen Group – The mama company!!!

Big Boys Toys – Parts, Dress-up, anything and everything!

VW-Online – An excellent online resource. You can submit questions to the mailing list and reach many people at once. Really great and it won’t deluge your inbox!! (2 a week is about the average I receive. Sometimes less)

Bugged Out – VW restorations

Classic VW Restorations

Halifax Beetles

Kombi Classics

RCC Import - Export

Status VW parts

Fuzzy Juice - "The North West's premier supplier of Max Hydraulics and airkits, Wolf Alarms, Windows and central locking products, vinyl graphics, pinstripping and custom number plates." Yup, does all of that, with cars for sale and pictures of the cars they have worked on.

Total VW – One of the 2 high street available Airchilled Mags

Volkswagen Camper and Commericial A new venture set up by the publishers of Total VW. Only availible by subscription currently, the mag is goingto be a quarterly with Ben Hayes at the helm. Looking good already!

VolksWorld – The other high street available Airchilled Mag

VWMagic - Reconditioned aircooled engines in the South-East

PERSONAL

General Airchilled VW-

DUBWORLD – Where the Discriminating Airhead Surfs for Heavenly Dubs. "Now with Frames and slidey bits"… Bright and funky.

Burning The Midnight Oil – a funky font site. Full of adverts, stories etc.

Aircooled in the UK – the Volkszone

Aircooled.net – Parts catalogue

E-Dubs – The internet VW community

Restoration hints and tips – one man’s experience, but very useful.

VWs and Beetles – For the love of Bugs! Worth a glance!

www.gl-internet-solutions.com - "A dedicated VW gallery for Air-Cooled Headz everywhere." Check this site out as you are able to send pictures and descriptions of your ride in to be featured in its galleries. Currently still being finalised, it only has a few pics, but promises great and wonderful things!

West Yorkshire VW Club - The site is still being put together, but worth a look if you are up that way.

www.volksrange.co.uk - Check in to have a look at their bargin bits and pieces!

www.vwaction.co.uk - Site dedicated to one of the biggest VW festivals of the year!

Specifics-

Garys Beach Buggy – all new and updated in a new cyber home.

Beach Buggie World – stuffed with animations and informative.

If buggies are your thing, check these two out – you won’t be disappointed!

411 1971 Brochure – It does what it says in the address. Interesting look at a period brochure for the unfortunately unpopular 411 series.

Tom’s Type 4 Corner – one of the best sites for information on the T4 411/412.

The VW Type 4 – yet more info on the T4. Good information is getting harder to come by, so this is worth a look.

Howard Rose’s ’66 Beetle – it does what it says in the address!! A great site detailing the 66’s restoration, plus links and galleries. Nicely put together and well worth a gander!!!

VW OWNERS CLUBS

The Demon Dweebs and Project Ca$hback. Ca$hback, is, in my opinion, the most exciting thing to be happening in the field of low cost performance and Bug ownership. Check it out NOW!!! (If the site is running slow, try the mirror site)

The Roundabout Club – Milton Keynes

London and Thames Valley VWOC – This site has had some access problems in the past, but is well worth a look if you are in the area.

Sussex VWOC

Type 3 & 4 Club

Cheesy VWs – All about Aircooled Club Scene in Southend. Great pics and a great site.

If you have anymore links to be put on this page, please email me with the details.
